Local Rates are competitive within the Atlanta area and are computed based on an hourly rate for the crew size required.

LONG DISTANCE
Long distance rates are based on weight and total miles of the move.

DISCOUNTS
SAVE MONEY by scheduling your move during non-peak times such as mid-week and/or mid-month.

PRICING CONSIDERATIONS
Several factors must be considered in determining the cost of your move. How far are you moving? Will you be moving on a weekend or during the week? How much and what type of furniture do you need moved? Do you have any unusual items that require special handling? Are you packing your items, or will you need our Packing Service. Each of these factors can add to or subtract from your total cost of your move. We offer Competitive Pricing, so take a few minutes to complete our online form and Get an Estimate. Time starts when our movers arrive and accumulates until the job is complete. Let's say our movers arrive at 9:00 AM and finish at 1:00 PM. You will be charged a total of 4 hours for your move.

HONEST ESTIMATES
Our estimate may at times be higher than that of another moving company. Why? We refuse to 'low-ball' an estimate to get your business. Based on the moving experience we've gained since 1985, we will provide you with our honest estimate of your moving cost. Our estimate will be based on the information that you provide to our moving consultants. That's why our Get Estimate form is so thorough. If you provide us with all the information we need, you can be assured our estimate will be fairly close to the actual cost of your move.

PAYMENT
We recommend at least a two week lead time for booking moves, with a $100.00 deposit required at that time. The balance of our fee is due and payable immediately upon completion of the move. Cash or credit card is acceptable for payment. Any other form of payment must be approved in advance by the management of Buckhead Movers. Your moving consultant can assist you in setting up billing arrangements if required.
